ARC Landscaping was founded by Ted Crosby in 2025. Ted grew up in northern Vermont and developed his green thumb working on an organic vegetable farm as a teenager. After 10+ years working as a professional musician and educator, Ted shifted his focus back to his roots and has been working in the horticulture and landscape trades. His artistic sensibility paired with his love of plants and the natural world have allowed him to develop a horticultural practice rooted in ecological methods and detailed plant care. Ted has worked with LandscapingTO, MicroHabitat, Pallida Gardens and Ontario Flora as well as doing independent contracts in the construction and landscaping trades.
Ted is supported by his partner Claire and two young children, Arlo and Ruth. He is also committed to maintaining his music practice and performs regularly around Toronto playing the saxophone and clarinet with various ensembles.
